The synergistic decision-making simulation is dynamic and versatile, and is, among other things, an icebreaker for training and development programs, as well as a tool to establish healthy norms within a work group. And, it can be used with new or established teams to introduce members to the value of synergy or to gauge their synergistic problem-solving skills.

It also creates a situation in which all members participate as equals – regardless of rank or position. By starting on equal footing, participants participate equally, focus on group processes, and analyze their contributions to the quality of the team’s performance.

Assessing group styles is critical in being able to solve real-life problems.
